Meta changes prices only on the first day of a quarter and warns in advance. The latest change affects everyone who answers customers in chat.

What is still free
- Incoming messages. Meta does not charge for anything a customer writes.
- 1,000 chat replies a month per number. Unused replies do not roll over to the next month.
- Up to 7 days after an ad click. If a customer came from a Click-to-WhatsApp ad, all messages are free.
- Incoming calls. Only calls started by the company are billed.
How the 24-hour window works
When a customer writes, a window opens for a day, and each of their messages extends it. Inside the window you can reply with regular messages. Once it closes, you can write first only with a template approved by Meta.

For delivered messages that a company sends. The price depends on the template category (marketing, utility, authentication), the recipient's country by phone code and the monthly volume. Since October 1, 2026, chat replies above 1,000 a month per number are billed too.
No. The payment method is linked to your Meta Business account and Meta invoices you directly at its own rates. You pay AISAR only for the subscription.
Utility relates to a specific order or customer action: a confirmation, a delivery status, an appointment reminder. Anything that promotes a product or a discount is marketing in Meta's view, and in Kazakhstan it costs 3.4 times more.
In Kazakhstan it is $0.018 per delivered code. If the company is registered in another country and sends more than 750K codes in 30 days, an international rate applies in several markets: for Kazakhstan it is $0.16.
Utility messages and verification codes have up to six tiers with discounts from 5 to 25%. The reduced rate applies to messages above the threshold. The counter is shared by all of the company's numbers, kept separately for each country and category, and resets on the 1st of the month.
Incoming calls are free. Outgoing calls are billed per minute in 6-second steps, in Kazakhstan $0.0132 per minute. Above 50K minutes a month the rate goes down.
Meta invoices in US dollars. Tenge is not among the currencies Meta supports, so the calculator shows tenge and roubles as approximate amounts at the National Bank of Kazakhstan rate.
Yes, AISAR also connects a regular WhatsApp by QR code. Meta charges nothing for messages there, but broadcasts and automation are limited, and mass sending carries a higher risk of a ban. The comparison is in the guide "Personal WhatsApp or WABA".
